In October 2017 Dan's lifelong friend Nathan Stubbs organised a comedy evening at the Mitchell arts center in Hanley. As well as the comedians there was a raffle and an auction all of which resulted in a very successful and enjoyable evening.
In May 2017 I was invited to collect a cheque for £628.22 donated by UNIPART Rail, Crewe branch. Thank you to Diane Brookes for considering CRY to receive this donation.
On May the 13th a team of us took on the born survivor military obstacle course at Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire.
In July this team of ladies completed a colour run and obstacle course at Aintree racecourse Liverpool.
In May we spent 6 hours packing bags and raising awareness at the ASDA superstore in Wolstanton.
In September we received a donation of £500 from Wetley Rocks F.C. via Wendy & Nev Birkin.
We were at a BBQ hosted by James Burrows at the home of Ashby Ivanhoe F.C. in July, the event was one of the activities they held during the year to raise the funds to stage a screening day in the Town
The Knutton Slimming World group generously donated £1,500 to CRY in October, they held several fund raising events over the summer 2017 & we are very grateful to Ems Campbell (3rd from the left) for considering us to receive the donation.
